Freeframe is dedicated to delivering training and development for organisations, including health care providers and the National Health Service. Operating as a not-for-profit organisation, ensures that training is accessible and free at the point of contact for carers and service users, to support those using health and social care.
Our advantage lies in an intersectional approach, combining coproduction, lived experience, and clinical expertise. This is enhanced by an understanding of policy development, as well as in-depth knowledge of the clinical landscape. This holistic perspective enables us to offer training that is both relevant and impactful within the healthcare sector.
Led by a registered mental health nurse, nurse academic, and lived experience expert, Freeframe operates on the premise that there exists a significant skills gap between continued professional development and competency-based education for health staff, and the lived experience perspective. By bridging this gap, Freeframe aims to enhance the effectiveness of health professionals and improve outcomes for both staff and service users.
Freeframe provides free training for carers and service users in the Scottish health and social care system, working as a not-for-profit with organisations like the NHS and health and social care providers.
